"Aaron and Guillermo were always very attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to assist us. They helped us arrange special meals for our daughter, who has dietary restrictions, making our stay much more comfortable and enjoyable. I can't remember the names of the housekeeping, room service, and in-suite snack staff, but their service was also top-notch. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay."

"This place was a fun place to be! The rooms were very clean, spacious, a/c was blasting cold. The resort had different food options, a buffet, and also a sports bar that closes very late! Cant forget about the amazing staff that we encountered there especially Susanna, Gustavo, Victor, Viri, Moises and all the bartenders and waiters that served us. Overall, such an unforgettable trip!"

"Stay Details: Mid-June | Family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children ages 9 & 10) | 3-Bedroom Apartment with Rooftop Pool The Highlights: The resort itself is amazing, set beautifully within the natural mangroves. The property is massive, and embracing the provided bicycles is a must. Once you get used to biking, it is a fantastic way to get around, it is a 6-minute ride to the beach and tennis courts, or a 30-minute ride exploring the completely shaded natural trails. The included breakfast served by the beach is amazing and was a major high point of our stay. The Accommodation: At around $1,000 USD per day during low season, the room rate is fair. However, for a five-star resort, the 3-bedroom apartment needed some maintenance. Despite being recently renovated, the finishes are a bit rough around the edges, and closing doors and kitchen cabinets feels clunky. If you plan to cook, be aware that the kitchen is not very functional as it lacks basic utensils and cookware. The Drawbacks: The massive downside to this resort is the food and beverage pricing, which is so exorbitant it completely overshadowed the trip. The prices exceed what you would pay at the Four Seasons in New York City. For context: $120 for a plate of pasta $75 for Eggs Benedict $12 for a can of sparkling water Verdict: It is definitely a beautiful place worth trying for the outstanding mangrove experience and biking trails, but go in with your eyes wide open regarding the astronomical food and drink cost."

Over the past six years, I've stayed here three times, giving me a solid perspective as someone who has experienced various top-tier resorts and hotels worldwide. I have high standards when it comes to accommodations, which I hope adds context to this review. The dining options are fantastic, with a variety of restaurants available not only at this resort but also at nearby Mayakoba properties. You could easily enjoy your entire trip without leaving the resort. The amenities are impressive, featuring multiple pools, a well-equipped gym, a luxurious spa, and a beautiful golf course. One highlight was the bar, Cielo, which hosted fantastic DJ nights. Tauro, the steakhouse, rivaled some of the best restaurants in New York. We also enjoyed the sushi and had a great experience at Fuego. However, we found the Mexican restaurant a bit lacking. While some areas of the property could use a little TLC—particularly the exteriors and beachside pool areas—the most remarkable aspect of our stay was the staff. They truly elevate the experience with their fun, kind demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful visit. I traveled with my two young adult children and opted for the ‘All-Inclusive’ package. With the exception of tips and a few menu items, nearly everything was included, making it worthwhile."
