I didn't even have to leave the pool to have lunch - it was delivered. I didn't clean my own sunglasses. I had 6 towels on a bali bed for one person. Living the dream! "

"Really enjoyed my stay here. I booked a swim out room, and thankful I did. Was nice waking up every morning and having the ability to jump right into the pool. Room itself was very spacious. Bed was comfortable, and the furniture was simple, but worked. Didn't feel trendy or dated. I dined at the 2 of the restaurants and did the buffet. I've read a lot of complaints about the food, and honestly, nothing I had was bad. On the same note, nothing also really stood out. I used the room service feature, and the wait time was about 45 minutes, so please keep that in mind if you are famished. Staff were professional and courteous. I went in the season of sea weed, so the beach was not accessible (I travel to Mexico often, so this is not a surprise to me. Please research when this happens so you are not caught off guard by it). I have only 2 minor complaints. The first, is I am an early riser. So I had to wait till about 730/0800 to get my swim time in as they were doing the maintenance on the pools (not dinging them for this, as this is very much a resort that has an active night life). The second is the remoteness of this location. My excursions that I booked, I was in the cab/vans a lot due to being the first one being picked up (e.g. I booked a Chichen Itza tour, and left at 0700, and got back at 2330). So if you plan to do any long excursions, look at spending the extra money and do it exclusive). I had a lot of fun and would stay here again."

"Rooms are a little too far apart from lobby and restaurants and golf carts that take you back and forward stop early at night. Also lobby to rooms roads are a little roo dark."

"Not very crowded, surprisingly pretty good food and a good selection. Could not swim in the ocean (from the beach) because of the sargassum, but to OMR's credit they handled it better than many other resorts in the area, so it wasn't too noticeable when not close to the water. Kayaking and other (non-motorized) water activities are included but were not listed anywhere and you had to know where to ask to find them (usually the Dive It! center)."
