"I had a wonderful stay in Grand Sunset Princess Resort. Lots of activities for both adult and kids. Delicious food and lots of restaurants to choose. All of the staff that I encountered were so accommodating. Although there are some seaweeds in the shore, there are parts of the beach where you can relax and chill. "

Chose this hotel because of its easy access by car. 10 minutes drive from Playa Fundadores, where the main action is. Perfect Hotel if you rent a car and explore By yourself the Mayan region. "This resort is very modern and Americanized, didn’t feel authentic Mexican. Beautifully designed with really great food. The buffet was amazing always had something new to discover. Did not like the wait times to get into the buffet or the order coffee from there little on site coffee shop. It was impossible to just go somewhere and help yourself to morning coffee. You had to wait to be sat then wait for the waiter to come over to your table (at the buffet) the train brings you around which helps since the resort is so big: the beach side pool is very sleek. Staff friendly. The gym is beautiful and nice tennis courts. Nightly live musicians were talented. I loved the smell in the lobby. "
