"Loved the location. I was a solo traveler and the food and the people at the local Cantina's really made my trip. The rooms at the Marvic were clean but needed some maintenance. I had a room on the third floor facing the street that did not have a refrigerator. Really? and you could hear the band playing all night. I asked for a room change and they gave me an inside room that was quiet with a fridge at no charge, Perfect. Luckily it was slow season. They have 24Hr desk coverage and all the staff speak English and I know at least Diana can speak four languages. Speaking of Diana, I can only say amazing she was so informative and answered all my questions about the area. If you're looking for a reasonable place to stay with a fun local vibe I definitely recommend staying at the Marvic, and yes I would stay there again"

The Elements Oceanfront & Beachside Condo Hotel

"Overall the place was fine - the condo was well maintained and cleaned, spacious, lots of room to spread out and having laundry in the unit was a huge bonus. The pool and hot tub are great (the pool is as big as it looks in the pics, my son loved it). The location is very convenient to La Quinta avenida. Property manager was helpful in answering questions before our stay. Two drawbacks which aren’t really the fault of the owners- the beach is not really a beach and due to significant seaweed buildup, the whole area stinks, making it unpleasant to sit out on the balcony or enjoy the pool even at times. Heavy rains had flooded the parking areas as well as the small dirt road that you have to cross to access the beach and bar area so we never even made it over there, sadly. Overall, if you’re looking for something similar to an apartment without all the all-inclusive bells and whistles but convenient and with a great pool, this is a good choice."

"Nice property, we were there at a bad time as seaweed was very bad, the smell from it was quite unpleasant, but the property was excellent the staff very nice and helpful, everything worked well, we were close to 5th avenue shopping and entertainment, overall enjoyed our stay here."
