"The best area for those who want to be close to all the excitement and fun but also be able to sleep somewhere quiet at night. This place has a gated parking lot for our rental car which saved a lot of worry, and the hotel is right next to the convenience store for a quick bite. It is not far away from Playa Del Carmen, being no more than a 10-minute walk to 5th Ave / ocean where everything is. The area is well-lit and feels extremely safe, and we would love bring our families here next time....

"I would have given it 5 stars but I had the worst experience ever at the check in. I arrived at 1:10pm and got a room by 3:30pm. On top of that they gave me a king bed for 3 kids instead of the two beds I requested and their key system didn’t work to open them until 5:30pm. It took away valuable time. At the check in there was a very bad verbal fight between guests and employees due to the waiting time. It was traumatic. I am glad that my kids fall asleep in the waiting are and didn’t noticed...
