I loved the pools their activities and the shows at night for families to enjoy. Staff is very welcoming enjoyed the salt pool that has a beautiful view to the beach. Food was great in buffets and at night tacos and pizza for late night snacks. Love that it’s next to xcaret park.

My wife and I were at the resort for 10 days and had an amazing time. We loved the jungle setting and all the wildlife that was around the resort. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. Definitely want to come back soon.

All inclusive package was great, the staff was friendly and helpful. Everybody we interacted with was always smiling and ready to help with anything. The hotel had events for people to interact either in the pool area or the beach area with music playing all day and drinks and food all day. Definitely worth the price and visit.

We really enjoyed the monkeys on the balcony. The nature trails were awesome! So animals on site. Very close walk to Xcarat. Things for sale at the resort were very expensive like most resorts.

The Occidental is a clean and nice property. It is an interesting tropical junglelike atmosphere. My kids loved seeing the monkeys and parrots active in the morning hours. Recommended.

The best part of the resort is the nature experience with the monkeys and iguanas. The food was satisfying. My only comment is that every other all inclusive resort I’ve been stayed at had a coffee shop included. It was a challenge to find good coffee.
