"This resort is the perfect combination of a beach retreat and a wellness resort. I loved everything about my stay and will definitely return in the future!"
"This hotel is not really for tourists. If you just want a nice clean place to stay for a night or two and you have your own transportation to get to the local attractions you will be satisfied. We reserved a room with a kitchenette but it was not useful because there are no plates, utensils or pots and pans, so there is no way to cook unless you know this ahead of time. The little pool is nice with a few deck chairs around for relaxing. "

"Food was great. It would be nice to be able to reserve a dinner reservation via phone from your room instead of having to walk all the way over and get turned away. Hotel and stores do not tell you that if you charge to the room you get a different exchange rate instead of the $20 pesos per US dollar that’s posted in the shops. Bed comfort was good. Overall room and amenities in the room were excellent. They think of everything! "
"The transportation from hotel to airport had a problem, because the drivers aren’t able to enter to the hotel lobby to call the passengers and some passengers need to take taxis. In my experience. I was in the Lobby one hour before the pick up time and never the driver call me, when I going to make complaint the representative person of the transportation company told me that the driver filled a no show report with the name of bell boy completely false. I was lucky the a bus from other company accepted ride me to the airport after transportation company request for solving my problem. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Hideaway. The a/c in our Sunset room was not working correctly on our first night. Someone did come to fix it and it was slightly better the second night, but the room was still warm. We advised our concierge, Suncil, who upgraded us to a suite for the balance of our week. This was the only problem we had, but it was quickly rectified. Both rooms were extremely clean and this is possibly the cleanest resort we have ever stayed at, out of the 15 all inclusive trips we have made to the Caribbean. The restaurants were all delicious, with Azia and The Grill being our favorites for dinner. Lunch at The Deck was great every day with numerous buffet or menu selections. The bars were all excellent with almost every top brand liquor being available. Wish we remembered the bartenders names at Bar Allegra, but they were great. We will definitely put Royal Hideaway on our list for return visits. Thanks for a great week!"
