"Extremely comfortable beds. Excellent view. But the property is a bit tired and needs a little TLC. Was a bit odd that the ensuite didn’t have a toilet in it, and you had to go out in the hallway to a shared one. And in the downstairs, the toilet was separate to the bathroom, which only had a basin to wash your hands, so, they should have been in the same room, not 2 separate rooms? But, in saying that. We did like our stay, the staff were lovely. Ok distance from town. Walking down didn’t take too long, but back up the hill was a little struggle for the unfit. But, about a $10 uber fare, so that was great!"

"clean room, but tired looking hotel has seen better days and needs a good refresh and at $300+ a night i would expect more. Also the camper vans out the front of my room in the car park were noisy and does not create a great atmosphere"

"A truly unique stay. Judy is a warm and gracious host. She has curated a diverse collection of period curios that adds atmosphere to the large living area. There are comfortable sofas and chairs in various sitting areas and a large comfortable bed upstairs. It's very quiet and the views of the mountains are incredible. This was one of our best stays in New Zealand."

"Exceptional and friendly staff. Cabin was new and bright. We didn't use any of the other facilities. The shuttle to town was a huge plus and efficiently run by the staff. This booking did not have a cancellation option. Our sole purpose was to meet overseas friends, however, they had flights cancelled due to the Middle East conflict. I expected a discretionary refund under the circumstances but it was not forthcoming. We therefore ,had to use the accommodation but would not book Top10 again without a cancellation option. "
