We really enjoyed our stay at Swiss Belresort Coronet Peak. We stayed as a family with extra children for a birthday and our son even recieved a birthday brownie from the staff. We loved the bowling right in the hotel complex. The rooms were amazing value for money and the breakfast was great. Staff were very helpful. We will be back :)

The breakfast was great value, the initial induction to the site was not very conclusive and was not well and clearly explained, the tvs did not work properly and the rooms did not offer adequate eating facilities and supplies and there did seem to be a clear expectation on the room maintenance staff of exactly what to do and the consistently wasn’t up to scratch, other than that it was a great place to stay and we enjoyed ourselves, great location. Also the hours of the restaurant/bar and bowling alley was very limited and frustrating.

Lovely place to stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside we had with our stay was that it was so cold. Reception area, hallways and main dining lounge were very cold and uninviting. Our bedroom heater also automatically switched off at midnight each night and wouldn't turn on for hours, which was very frustrating. We only got 3 TV channels and cellphone coverage was next to none. Lucky we weren't there to watch TV or go on phones. I would stay here again, just need to keep extra layers on.

Great stay for the price. Very close to Coronet Peak for skiing and sightseeing. One complaint I have is we bought food outside but it got cold real quick, so we wanted to heat it up. There was no microwave in the room so we asked staff to help in the reception. They declined saying they don't have a microwave either. I think customer service could be improved. We had to go door to door to about four cafes and shops and finally found one. They provided water from a tap outside so I went to fill the water instead of filling from my bathroom tap, but their water was empty 4 times in 5 days of stay. An indian looking lady was generous to fill my bottle from the kitchen. No complaints on the room, bed, bathroom. It was clean. I would book again given the proximity to Coronet Peak.

Parking was free via a ticket from the motel. The carpark was gravel which made moving the heavy cases difficult. Our room was at the very end of the ground floor so it was a fair hike to get there, this could have been problematic if there had been any mobility issues The room itself although starting to show its age was good Staff were excellent and it was novel to have a bowling alley as part of the complex. A great hotel across the road for meals.
