The location is great. We had a lake view suite room - which is very desirable if staying at the property. The suite was very spacious and comfortable. The service was great right from check in, to some amenities that were requested and the break buffet service.
Loved the location, staff was accommodating in the hotel, spa, and restaurant.
Our suite with living room had a fireplace and dining and lounging deck overlooking the lake.
Lovely hotel! Beautiful property around the lake. We are so glad we didn’t stay in downtown queenstown and decided to stay here. There is a ferry outside the hotel that you can take to go to downtown queenstown or if you have a car, it’s very convenient drive. Room was sooo nice and we really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend it 100%
Front office staff was attentive and available 24/7 for any needs. Grounds were clean, quiet, slightly removed from the main downtown of Queenstown but only a short drive away and it was nice to be on the other side away from the action a bit. Good if you’re looking for a little more privacy and relaxed pace.
The place is very good and family friendly. There is swim noodles provided in pool area. Easy access to the water taxi and the reception sells bee card. Parking at the double tree is easy. Laundry powder and dishwashing liquid are provided.
The staff were lovely, the hotel and facilities were warm and welcoming. The lake and mountains view were incredible and stacks and Wakatipu grill were wonderful
Great place, water taxi was good but need to plan for alternative transport if sailing is cancelled due to weather.
Will definitely stay again.

had an absolutely wonderful four-day stay at the Hilton Queenstown Resort & Spa. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was immediately impressed by the hotel’s peaceful lakefront location and beautiful mountain views.
I really enjoyed staying here. The suite was lovely with a good view. The staff were great. We had an issue with the fireplace and they went out of their way to fix it the next day and provided complementary breakfast to apologise. We enjoyed the pool and sauna too!
Excellent location and staff, but lacks value for money.
While the hotel is in a prime location and the staff are mostly excellent, the overall experience didn’t quite match the price point.
The rooms felt overpriced, and the corridors appeared dated and in need of a deep clean or renovation.
Regarding dining, the food quality was average despite the high cost. Notably, breakfast was a letdown; despite paying for the meal, there is an additional surcharge for barista-made coffees like cappuccinos.
We had a great stay, location is quiet. All facilities including the room was excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The Buffet breakfast spread was disappointing. Bacon and sausages were over cooked. Poor parking facilities.
