We enjoyed a wonderful 2 weeks at this hotel for our honeymoon. The hotel itself is built in the Mayan Style in beautiful landscaped gardens. The hotel staff were fantastic, they couldn't do enough for you and always with a smile. The restaurant was good with fresh food. The ruins are short 15 minute bicycle ride away as are stunning beaches up the coast. Tulum town is also 15 mins away by bicycle, offering many bars, restaurants and gift shops. There is a huge choice of tours and day trips to the surrounding area - Sian Ka'an is not to be missed, nor Coba Mayan ruins or the various cenotes. Holiday of a lifetime :)
Such a great hotel, the staff are really friendly and the rooms are clean and a good size. I really liked that they provided 2 litres of water everyday as you cannot drink the tap water. Right on the beach so you can relax all day and order food or drinks on the sand. Wifi wasn't the greatest, but it's not hard to switch off for a few days. Food was really delicious, some of the best I had in Mexico, a little expensive though but to be expected being right on the beach.

The hotel was situated above a bakery, and hard to find. Parking was available right at the front gate.
The room was cozy, with air conditioning, refrigerator, TV and sitting area. Nice closet and comfortable bed.
Many cats were on the premises (and on the stairs,) the hotel has a beautiful court yard with lots of vegetation.
Wifi signal was weak in the rooms, but there was a seating area outside the rooms.
Overall, this hotel is a hidden gem.

We were constantly impressed with the hotel. Staff were incredibly helpful and nice. Great location, about 3kms from the beach and short walk to downtown Tulum. They offer bikes for easy/free transport to the beach, ruins, cenotes etc. Couldn't fault this hotel, everything was spot on and made our time in Tulum unforgettable.
There couldn't possibly be a better experience with the overlap of the fine dining with Allesandro's magic, a saxophonist, and the service of the entire crew. The room was minimal and extremely reasonable. Five star from the perspective of the minimalist.
