"Feels off the grid in a great way"
Whether swimming in the turquoise blue sea or enjoying the calming water of your private pool, no detail is overlooked. From the friendly staff, to the delicious food... From the hanging lanterns to the smell of copal wafting through the air, BeTulum over delivers in every way. They were successful at curating the ultimate beach get-away. We loved every minute of it and plan to go back.

"Tulum never disappoints.."
I have stayed at several properties on the beach.. but The Beach Tulum is definitely on the top of my list. The service is impeccable with super friendly staff.. Shout out to Greg (beach server), Erick (restaurant manager), Barbara (lobby bartender) and Sylvia (front desk). They were not only super accommodating but really helped to enhance our stay at Beach Tulum. Highly recommend!!

A really great little hotel. Only 12 rooms, but well designed and thought out.Very good location. The rooms were quite small but well laid out and very clean. The manager (Alex, I think) was very polite and extremely helpful, he also spoke excellent English. Would recommend to anyone.

"Loved La Flaca !"
I very much enjoyed our time at La Flaca- we (me, my mother, and my son) stayed there for a few days and it was exactly what I was looking for. Great food, good drinks, very comfortable atmosphere, etc. The rooms are great, but they're certainly in the really-nice-hostel category, not 5-star-luxury, but honestly, if you're looking for that you'll be in Cancun rather than Tulum. When I return, I won't even think twice about where I'll stay - La Flaca !

"Very nice room on the beach...."
We had a great stay. Everyone was awesome. Spend the extra $ and get a beach front bungalow, its worth it. Rudy and Tony were awesome and made our trip even more fun. We told them it was our anniversary and we got a free dinner on the beach. There will be topless women on the beach, so if you can't handle seeing that, Tulum is not the place for you. We went to the Tulum ruins, which we would recommend. Akumal Bay was awesome and easy to get to by taxi. We took our own snorkeling gear but they do have it to rent and also lockers you can rent too. Snorkeling with turtles, rays, and fish in calm water. It was very hard to snorkel off of the hotel beach because of the larger waves than at Akumal. We spent an afternoon and went to Playa Del Carmen. Bad idea. Everyone tries to pull you in their shop and sell you weed and the same crap as the guy next door. I wouldn't waste your time or money. Night walks on the beach were great. Make sure you take a flashlight. There are crabs everywhere. When we go back we will rent a car because everywhere you want to go is a long walk and taxi fares add up very quick. Simple was a great place to eat and is right down the road. Also, the pizza at OM resort was awesome and is a short walk up the beach. Back to the Mestizo, they did everything they could to make our trip amazing. Lastly, small bills are pointless in Mexico. Anything less than a fifty peso bill is not needed. A beer is 45 pesos

"Cozy jungle-like hotel"
The hotel was situated above a bakery, and hard to find. Parking was available right at the front gate. The room was cozy, with air conditioning, refrigerator, TV and sitting area. Nice closet and comfortable bed. Many cats were on the premises (and on the stairs,) the hotel has a beautiful court yard with lots of vegetation. Wifi signal was weak in the rooms, but there was a seating area outside the rooms. Overall, this hotel is a hidden gem.

"Love this hotel!"
We absolutely loved this hotel! I was a little nervous about some of the reviews stating it was on a barely passable road, but I did not find this to be the case. The online directions offer two ways to reach the property: one is paved and one is not. The only unpaved part was the parking lot, but it was hardly 100 yards on this road. I thought it was going to be far out from everything. It was about two blocks from downtown, and the online directions got us there no problem. The grounds are stunning! The rooms are minimalistic (no tv or fan), but we weren't there to stay in our room. It was very convenient to town, and we had a car. If you are looking for a party spot right on the beach, this is not the place. It was quiet and relaxing. It was about two blocks behind the main drag and a decent car ride to the ruins of Tulum. The staff was very kind and helpful. The owner, Min, was very attentive and the other man working (Eh Yo) was super nice and helpful as well. He told us all there was to do in the area and marked on our map how to get to each one. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again. When there, they recommended a taco shop (Don Diego's) around the corner to eat. We tried it out and were not super impressed. The ambiance was awkward and extremely silent, and the food was super basic and overpriced.

"Luxury and comfort"
Hotel entrance awesome. Check in person awesome gave us great upgrades. Room superb, had its own wi-fi, big, nice balcony, big bathroom, nice drwers and closet space, good kid programming on tv, air conditioning worked well. The only thing about the room was e lighting, very very dim, hard to do my makeup, and the fridge did not keep drinks very cold. The bed was super comfy and they had nice new play pen for my son. Restaurants were good, not excellent, they do lack on taste, nothing to write home about. And careful dinning outside, the Mosquitos will eat you alive, it only happened one nite. Beach was awesome, great secluded spot with palms for shade and great walking on beach for more private beach areas, feels like being on a deserted island. The pools need some work, too small for the amount of guests so the water is murky, not that crystal clear water look. The grounds are beautiful, lots to walk and see, jungle, plaza, beach, hacienda, the cafe, cenote. I was hoping for less people, but it was still ok. Only had to wait once for the sushi place about 20mins.
