Elk + Avenue Hotel

Elk + Avenue Hotel

8/10 Good
"It’s my 3rd time staying here as I wanted something convenient, especially with a toddler. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 stars are as follow: the loft I stayed at had several items unplugged (tv upstairs, phone (the ringer didn’t work either and I let them know right away), and the big one was that the welcome message on the screen had another guest name on it. I wondered if they had put me in the wrong room so after I plugged the phone in I called and asked. They told me the previous guest probably didn’t sign out….i stayed there for 3 nights and they changed the welcome name on tv the day I checked out. Besides that, the market is right next door and it’s a nice hotel overall."

"Perfect location in Banff town. you can walk everywhere. There are tons of restaurants right around the property, so we never had to use our car. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and having two good restaurants inside the lodge was a nice bonus. What really stood out was the service. I asked multiple questions over WhatsApp and got responses within a minute every single time. That level of responsiveness is rare and genuinely impressive. Overall, this was easily the best decision for our stay in Banff. If you’re considering this place, it’s a no-brainer."
