"Very nice accommodations! The hotel restaurant was excellent, we wound up eating 75% of our meals there sitting outside with the unbelievable view of the mountains, too. Even though Hotel Canoe is the furthest Uptown, the walk to Downtown is super easy, and the transit shuttle picks up right across the street if you don't wish to walk. We will definitely stay there again...just make sure to upgrade your RSVP to a room with unobstructed views of the mountains. AAA"

"Location is perfect. Condo is updated. Staff pleasant and helpful. Negatives are the bedrooms are very small with no closet or dresser. Also, the delivery trucks for the grocery are right below the rooms and the trash / recycle truck comes nearly every morning by 8 for multiple loads. The hot tubs were broken the entire time we were there, so that was disappointing. The closest free parking is about a 7 minute walk."

"My wife and I are always cautious when places do not have a lot of good reviews or very few, as we have had bad experiences in the past. This place did not have many reviews but we decided to give it a chance. Incredibly breathtaking is all we can say. The room was amazing, the view was postcard worthy, and everyone at the property was great! We would highly recommend this place to anyone and can’t not wait to stay here again. "The Otter Hotel is perfectly placed at the edge of downtown. Everything is walkable but also easily accessible by bus. The hotel makes it convenient for you and the staff are extremely helpful!"

"Nice location with remodeled interiors. The inside of the rooms is new and remodeled, the outside hopefully is next in line for an update. Restaurant was great and convenient. Could use some seating/benches outside the door (there are individual exterior entrances to each room). Was happy this was available and would stay again!"

"The whole experience was just what we wanted. Clean room, great view, and super hot mineral pool/hot tub. Location was very convenient. It was quiet and a short walk to central Banff. The view from our room allowed us to see much of the valley, and it snowed last night up the mountains which was magical to see the before and after."

"Good location pretty well right in the centre of Banff. Paid parking (not unusual in Canadian city locations) in an underground car park which was convenient. The Kitchenette in our room was pretty minimal but Banff is coming down with places to eat, though we do like to make our own breakfasts when travelling for a period, so that is a small negative. Our room appeared to be brand new and the bed etc was very comfortable. All in all, we’d definitely stay here again if we were staying in Banff."

"Lovely big clean room with really comfortable beds. Great location within Banff and easy parking. Staff were all great. Only slight complaints was the water pressure in the shower was quite poor and the buffet table in the breakfast room is very small, so was quite chaotic first thing in the morning with lots of people trying to reach over each other."
