"We really enjoyed the newly renovated rooms. Only suggestion would be that the showers have somewhere other than the floor to put bath products. They needed to have a shelf in the bathroom. The property was clean and the staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed our time and would go back. In the future we would like to be able to reserve our restaurants in advance we couldn't do that in advance because we didn't have our room number to do it online prior to arrival. We had to eat at the buffett most days since the reservations were mostly booked up before our arrival."

"Resort was nice, the upgraded elite club package was a complete waste of money, all it got you was a pool with no pool chairs or shallow parts and a restaurant that had the same menu as their steakhouse pretty much. Resort had a major red ant problem. Definitely not worth the money."

"If the beach is your thing, this isn't the place for you. It is very narrow and rocky and attracts a higher than average amount of seaweed which has a strong odor. The cabanas, which must be rented by the day, take of the edge of 80% of the pool side space."

"The family suite was a great room for a stay with children. The murphy beds were comfortable enough for the kids and the king bed was great for the parents. The staff were great, juan the server at Los Moreales was great offering the best service we experienced. Geo and Danna at the kids club became quick staples to the kids trip always offering some diverse activities when a break was needed from the pool and beach. The staff was always welcoming and never felt pushy or rude. They were genuinely interested in making our stay enjoyable. The food was great, especially the restaurants with reservations, the buffet was solid and themed every night... all around a fantastic resort. Highly recommend it, will be back! "
