Lovely views.
We had our daughter's wedding in Oamaru. This house was perfect for us to stay in along with our other daughter, son-in-law, 3 grandsons and for one night our two grand- daughters as well. Only issue was some of the power points weren't working but I believe these have since been fixed. Beds were super comfy.

The view was good and the place was comfortable. Easy access! The fridge was powered off when we arrived, but that was easy to resolve.

Five bedrooms & two bathrooms worked well for our group of 7. Joy the owner was very responsive & interior was good. Exterior a little scruffy but stunning views. Would stay there again.

Beautiful views from this lovely home
We very much enjoyed our stay in this home on the hill overlooking the town with gorgeous views of the ocean. The furnishings were well done and very comfortable. The host was great at communicating check in details etc. The location was just north of the town center which made it easy to get everywhere in just 5-15 minutes. This house is certainly a gem.

Excellent Choice
Loved the house, had everything we needed, after completing Spring Challenge we had lots of space, great bed rooms, and bathrooms. Kitchen and dining area was lovely with AMAZING views. Easy access to town. Joy was fabulous to communicate with. If I ever need to stop and stay in the region id definitely try to rebook this property.

Gem in Oamaru
We needed a place for one night to accommodate the family in one spot. The house is wonderful inside a diamond in the rough. Well appointed amenities, warm and cosy very comfortable in deed. Would stay again and recommend as the views are fantastic

Great house for a big group
Lovely warm home, comfy beds and well appointed kitchen. Great having 3 toilets and 2 showers for our large group (11 people). Only negative is the lack of outside lighting (arrived in the dark and was difficult to negotiate the steps) and also a hand rail on the steps would be great. Overall a great stay and would definitely stay again.

8 friends had just finished the Alps to Ocean Cycle. This finished in Oamaru and we wanted a nights stay before our transfer to Christchurch airport the next morning to fly home. Everything was superb. Good communication, comfortable beds, fantastic view and just a great location. Thank you Joy

Overall a well maintained property. However there are not enough spoons and there was no toaster.
The rooms were well maintained and the bed configuration worked out well for the group. The property manager did not initiate any contact re: how to access the property.

Great sunny house,very comfortable beds.Bottle of wine a lovely touch Thankyou. Not enough cooking dishes to feed 4 hungry guys, like to bake chicken pasta , Beef stroganoff , apples pie. Had to go out & buy some dishes . Rubbish wheelie bin so full, a dog had pulled rubbish out. All the same would stay again. Jill

Better than expected
We absolutely loved everything about this house! The view was awesome! Our children absolutely loved the bed spreads. Rainbow covers and a dinosaur cover was perfect for my 2 children a girl and boy. The house was really nicely decorated and very clean! I felt like Joy went the extra mile for her guests and we really appreciated the bottle of wine. We would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful house with lots of room

Great house in great location
Lovely spacious house. Each of us were able to get a private room. No fighting for the loo. Quick drive into town or supermarket. And gorgeous views! On both sides. We didn't have great weather and didn't count on the house being so nice! We're already planning another longer trip. Thank you for your hospitality!

Super comfortable home with amazing sea views
We couldn't speak more highly of our stay at this home. It has been beautifully renovated, and with our large group of friends the two fully refurbished bathrooms, extra toilet, great kitchen/living area and the super comfortable beds made our stay so enjoyable. The views are stunning, across the sea, and we saw the moon rise the first night which was really special. The whole house was spotlessly clean, great design features, and very well equipped. We met Joy and her husband Terry, and both were so welcoming. Would highly recommend this home for a family group or friends, and would be very happy to stay again.

Lovely big windows
