He was fast to say that we had to pay an extra NZ$20 for the parking (not mentioned anywhere online) and that breakfast was not included as well (again, not mentioned online). We felt like he was bothered with our appearance at the hotel. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable. No complaints.

Not sure about the trend of hotels charging ($20) for parking. Do they think you teleported there? Anyway, great staff, nice room and good value. Had a beer and fries in bar, great value. Window in room had tiny gap due to latches not being quite right, when mentioned it was taken seriously and another room was offered - excellent service. Have stayed before, will stay again.
