Perfection!

This was THE perfect place to stay on Waiheke. It is right in the middle of ‘town’ and so easy to just pop downstairs for coffee, restaurants, shopping. And the views from the living room and deck are amazing. The beach is a quick walk. The ferry terminal is even walkable in about 15-20 minutes. It’s a sleepy town, so even though it’s on the main road, it was very quiet after about 8 pm. Everything was clean, nicely decorated, and felt big and spacious.

Perfect Central Location
The Apartment was centrally located, everything available on your doorstep for exploring Waiheke, dining out or buying supplies to stay in. We would definitely stay again if heading to Waiheke. There were supplies available for our use, the mosquito plugins were appreciated - as there's no getting away from them! Also, the laundry powder, soaps and general kitchen items – these made the stay a home away from home. It would be improved by having a more recent model TV so we could watch something other than Freeview and we couldn't find the DVD player.

Perfect apartment in the heart of Oneroa Village
We had a great long weekend stay at The Waiheke Pad. The cute apartment was perfect for our family of 4 and we enjoyed being able to walk down the stairs and get to restaurants, cafes and shops within 30 seconds. We loved sitting out on the deck with great views of Oneroa Beach and the bay. Didn't have any struggles with noise at night and the beds are comfortable. I would be sure to not leave any food or crumbs out as we encountered an ant infestation even though we didn't cook any meals in the apartment. Luckily ant bait was supplied and we did our best to clean up so we didn't attract more.

Couples getaway
The location of this property was fabulous. We were a little worried that it was going to be noisy but it wasn't. The rooms suit more a family than 2 couples as one couple had to sleep in single beds. Overall a very pleasant stay. Would have been nice to have had some milk in the fridge for a cuppa when we arrived!

Really nice place to stay
It was a beautiful property to stay in marred only by the shockingly cheap ironing board. We were visiting very nice restaurants and couldn't iron our clothes properly. Also a water pistol for the seagulls would be good.

We loved the location of the Waiheke pad, so handy to the shops, restaurants and beach. The views are spectacular out to the bay from the balcony and very peaceful just to sit there to enjoy. The beds were comfy and clean. Even although this is located in Oneroa we had no noise problems from the street or neighbours. The whole place is very clean except we did find the shower cubicle to be a bit grotty and the hand basin in the toilet must have been somewhat blocked as always took a while for the water to drain away. We would book again and hope the toilet would be better serviced. 🙂

Perfect Waiheke getaway
Great location in the heart of Oneroa surrounded by the local shops, but also very quiet. Perfect for four girlfriends wanting a mid-week escape from the hustle and bustle of Auckland. The apt was immaculate and had everything we needed. Very relaxing place with fantastic view of the sea. Walking distance to Cable Bay vineyard and great bus service around the island to visit other places. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

Ultimate Waiheke Accommodation
A 30-minute ferry ride from Devonport, a quick bus ride up the hill to the Oneroa shops, across the road to the accommodation/apartment located above the shops - this is the ultimate convenient destination!! Very smart - clean, tidy, light and bright; everything feels and looks new and sparkly clean. Beds are comfortable, shower is divine, ample heaters for those cold wintry nights, and a great deck with sea views. Within metres of all the shops; cafes, bars, restaurants, even a medical centre 100m down the road. Will definitely be back - cannot rate it highly enough. Good clear communication, just so easy. Thank you so much - Kathryn and family (2 kids, 15 and 12).

Fantastic location in Oneroa
Lovely apartment with gorgeous sea views. Only thing letting the property down was the shower that dribbled out and the clothes drier didn't work properly.

Thanks Carla - yes it has fabulous views! We are so sorry about the water pressure - this was fixed once you let us know. And the dryer does work fine - we will ensure that the instructions are clear.

Great village location
This is a very nice 2 bedroom bach in the central village of Oneroa. There are sweeping views from the deck of the ocean looking over the stores of Oneroa. From here you can walk to the restaurants and beach. There are steps up to the back of the bach, the decor is nice and it is equipped with mostly everything you need. There is freeview TV and dishwasher as well. Easy to get to from bus stop and ferry. Only suggestion for improvement - would benefit from the addition of a heatpump for winter (air conditioning in summer too).

Perfect location
The property is right in the middle of Oneroa with a gorgeous view with easy access to everything you need. Even though it is right in the middle of the township it is still very quiet. Only downside is 1 bathroom.

Perfect central Oneroa base
Not the first time we have stayed. This is perfect for a family with two young ones wanting a central location to tour Waiheke. Modern and well laid out. Right by the coffee stall and bus stops, and with a perfect view of the water.

Central apt clean with great views
Great location with views to match. Clean and tidy apt with everything you need. If you want a sleep in, the car park behind can be a little noisy, but other than that great place to stay

Dissapointing stay
Nice apartment, but no air conditioning made it impossible to enjoy our stay or sleep as it was too hot, couldnt open the windows at night due to being bitten by mosquitos. One very small fan which was very noisey - I would consider installing air con Sofas very uncomfortable

Hi Georgina I am pleased you enjoyed your stay. I am sorry but no there is no air conditioning. It has been very hot recently & yes I agree it does make sleeping difficult! But we find that leaving windows open during the day to get a breeze through, then closing at dusk to avoid the mozzies does the trick. Yes a fan is provided, this is quite new but we will check it is in full working order. Great location, super apartment
Thanks for our mini break. We really enjoyed the apartment, it was very clean and tidy and a top location if you want to be in the heart of Oneroa. Good communication after the booking, and arrival and departure were easy. Suited our family of 4, with two teens, perfectly for a short break.
