The hotel has a King bed which is nice. It's modern. The food at the restaurant was excellent, much better than we expected. Service at the restaurant was very slow.

We were there at a very difficult time as everyone was having to leave the country due to covid19. The hotel was packed and it was a hectic and crazy time. The staff remained calm and friendly throughout everything and our room was clean and tidy. For a crazy tome, they did a very good job.

Unfortunately we were unable to stay at this hotel as upon arrival we were told that the New Zealand gov't had contracted for all the rooms due to the COVID-19 crisis. We were then transferred to a much inferior "sister" property (IBIS) which we were not happy with. We will never stay at an IBIS hotel in the future. Room small, pretty much just room for the bed. Bed constantly moved away from way when tried to sit in the bed with back to the wall. No phone. Due to COVID no food at the hotel, although there was a grocery store nearby (rest of nearby stores & restaurants closed due to COVID gov't restriction). We were glad to get out of the IBIS hotel. Room was noisy with HVAC/plumbing noises...we had trouble sleeping.
