I felt most things in this property, from the kitchen, the furniture, the decking and the decking furniture were old tired and dated. There was no wardrobe, just a hanging rail on wheels, which had to be kept in the lounge due to lack of space in the bedroom. The pictures and the description on the site to not reflect and true condition of the apartment. I was really disappointed with the property.

Despite superficial cleaning, sadly the aged and and worn condition of the apartment (notwithstanding some decorating attempts) contributed to us feeling uncomfortable during our stay (particularly, the aged state of the kitchen cupboards and the shower) ... considering the cost of the accommodation. However, the apartment was spacious.

We thought for a fairly old facility that it offered real value for money & readily recommend it to travelers. The views from the front porch area out over the lake were first class & the table & chairs on the balcony create a real holiday atmosphere. The interior of the apartment are clean & neat & the kitchen is large by apartment standards.

Great location, great place, highly recommended
Very well located. Close to everything. Amazing views of the lake. Super appartement, as if it was home. We even had some light breakfast. Very recommendable.

Classic Apartment in Rotorua
Apartment has amazing views from the deck, very comfortable and well equipped. ThIs apartment is very spacious and in a close location to the town center. Having the continental breakfast items is a nice touch.

Great views, close to everything, easy check in!
The view is amazing! There’s a cafe just a few buildings away that has great breakfast and desserts!!! There is a nice run to do from the house down to the lake and around the lake! The town bars and restaurants and shops are just a 4 minute walk! Tourist attractions hot pools are also just a 5 minute walk!

What more could you want!
The penthouse apartment was a fantastic place to stay! A easy 5 minute walk to a range of bars and restaurants and the lake. The accomodation was warm and comfortable (heat pump turned on for us) and the decor was amazing! Views to die for - must come back in summer when we can enjoy the deck!

Lovely spot
Stayed a few nights while attending a conference. The accommodation was really nice - very tidy and comfortable, lovely view of the lake and local marae. The deck was a great place for a beer. Comfortable bed and very relaxing in the lounge. Would recommend highly.

Spacious penthouse with nice balcony.
The penthouse is nicely furnished and king size bed is great. All cooking equipment is available and we used the hallway to store our bikes. Great stay in Rotorua.

Backpacker Deluxe
I would not call this accommodation a penthouse. A penthouse is a flat on the top floor of a tall building, typically one that is luxuriously fitted. It may have been on the top floor, but it stopped there. Unfortunately whoever did the renovation did it poorly. The floors were uneven and when you flushed the toilet the shower drain overflowed. I would unfortunately describe this accommodation as a Backpacker Deluxe.

Fantastic location. We walked everywhere
The location of the apartment was great. We walked to town several times as well as the restaurants. The apartment is large but the kitchen and bathroom are not. Compared to other places we stayed in NZ for this trip the cost of this apartment was too much. However location was great.

The best view in Rotorua
This is a serviced apartment on the edge of Rotorua city. By edge we mean a 7 minute walk down a slight grade to the Eat Street restaurant strip and from there 2 more minutes to the centre of town. The apartment itself is immaculate & beautifully maintained. Bedding is very comfortable and the living spaces - both inside and out - command great views over Ohinemutu & the lake. Parking is available at your front door. If you are looking to go out for breakfast, turn right onto the street and 50m down the road is a terrific cafe with an excellent breakfast & coffee. All in all, just an outstanding option in Rotorua.

Best value for money in Rotorua.
Easy process to check in and extremely private. Condition is awesome and once upgraded a bit more will be excellent. You can pay the same money in Rotorua for a lot less so we were very happy with our stay. Yes it is a 5 minute walk to Restaurant area in the town but...so what. The view over the Lake makes up for that. Would stay here again without hesitation

Great apartment with view of lake
The penthouse apartment was great. A bit of confusion due to this a being a late booking but the owner had rushed down to freshen place up. Great comfy bed , good view and the free and strong wifi appreciated. Close to Rotorua town centre.

Nice apartment with a great view
The lake view penthouse was a lovely apartment which was stylishly decorated. The bed was comfortable. There was a heat pump to keep you warm and a nice comfortable couch and large TV to watch. There was no instructions emailed prior to arriving as to where to go or the door codel and hence if you didn't have your cell phone, you wouldn't be able to get into the room. The continental breakfast included was also very disappointing- basic cereals and frozen white toast. I was hoping for a bit more in regards to breakfast. However overall a lovely comfortable stay.

Penthouse Apartment
The apartment matched the pictures and was just as advertised. Lovely to have space in the lounge rather than being cramped in a hotel room. Loved the quirky furniture and fittings. We would stay here again without hesitation.

On our arrival there was no one on the property. We tried ringing the number left at door but no answer. Rang company I had made booking through who gave us a number to contact reception. The number would not connect. After waiting around for nearly an hour we ended up finding alternative accommodation. It is quite apparent why there are no photos of the outside of the property. From the title you would assume it was a multi-story hotel, however, that is far from the truth. It is a 2 story faded weatherboard holiday house and not the name as advertised. If i had seen a photo prior to booking there is no way I would have. Totally misleading and very poor communication to customers. Can't recommend as we never actually got into the property and no sign of a refund.
