"Good location, clean, nice people, 1 night, recommend"

"This hotel was great if you want to fit many people in one room. If you’re looking for more of a conventional set up or just need four people in a room, I did not love the condition of the room rooms for the cost of the stay. The location was fine walkable if you’re able to walk about a mile and the staff were amazing but some of these rooms need to be upgraded!"

"This hotel is in a nice area in terms of being away from the noise. That being said, it is a LONG WALK from the French Quarter. It gets tiring very fast. But, all the rooms were in great condition. That made it worth it. The only real qualm I had with this hotel was the daily fee. On top of the expensive price I paid for the room, there was a daily fee of $34? A little odd because they give us a $15 “credit” a day to use on the bar or their restaurant. But I would have rather just not had the daily fee…."

"The breakfast was often cold. The omelet bar was non-existent. We got locked out of our room because the door lock's batteries were dead. We had to wait forever to get it resolved and we were never compensated. The location was perfect so that was the trade off. "

"It was pay on arrival, but they charged our card two weeks in advance. When we called , the person said “yeah, we just do that sometimes” On arrival, grabbed a luggage cart despite two employees standing there ignoring us. Once our baggage was on it, we saw that the tires were flat so it would not roll. Asked for a different one and got a dismissive wave and were told “there are more over there somewhere” We had two rooms, but were put on different floors, one of which you can’t even access from the lobby elevator. When asked to be on the same floor, the desk person (who we are almost certain was high) told us to give him an hour. We gave him three, and then came back. He checked us in, but into the original rooms and said nothing until we asked about it. Then he said we could try again in 90 minutes. We didn’t bother. We got to the room and went to take a shower. The shower head was almost falling off, so water sprayed everywhere. Knowing we would get no help from the property I fixed it for them, and didn’t even charge them plumbing labor. Next day, my girlfriend went down to buy laundry detergent. She waited in line, and when it was her turn she got the same dismissive wave and was told to look in a cabinet in the retail area next to the counter. Then they made her go to the back of the line to pay for it. I’ve had the pleasure of staying in hotels all over the world, and this was by far the worst staff I’ve experienced. Shame, it could be a nice place."

"The location was central to everything which was really convenient. The bed was so comfortable and the room was clean with plenty of towels. Could have used more water pressure in the shower but the water got hot so we were okay. Staff were very friendly and informative. "
