Bed and Breakfast in New Orleans

"Extremely nice Bed & Breakfast, they serve a very nice breakfast with the staff being very nice and accommodating. The property is located one block from the street car service, once we parked the car in the secured parking area never needed to move it until we checked out. The free parking is great, leaves more in the budget for having fun. Recommend this property to anyone and would stay there again in a heartbeat."

"Walkable to so much we wanted to do. Always had easy parking out front. Quiet residential area and the hosts were friendly and personable. The Marigny is a great neighborhood and you can easily walk to Frenchman Street, the French Quarter, and many other things. We easily found restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. "

"The Okra Inn was a great festival house for our group 7. Some of us ran up and down the stairs (all of the bedrooms were upstairs) and some of us climbed the stairs slowly . . . Every morning we gathered around the roomy island/bar to have fun cooking breakfast and COFFEE TOGETHER. These original NOLA houses have some stories to tell and the Okra Inn was intriguing in that way. It was colorful, clean, and comfortable, especially the rocking chairs on the front porch. "I’ve never stayed in such an old house so I wasn’t expecting the toilets to be so sensitive and the water pressure to be pretty non existent. The shower water went off a few times while we were showering. But I’d recommend replacing the shower curtains. They weren’t that clean. The house was nice and the garden area was pretty. Loved having an off street parking spot. The house worked great for our friends and family!"
