"We loved our stay at Rathbone Mansions in New Orleans. The staff was great and we were well cared for. It was conveniently located to everything we need to be at. Our entire family was in the same area. Our grandchildren especially loved the pool. "

"This Shotgun had so many cool features. We loved the location; it was a bit of a walk to downtown, but so quiet and totally safe and doable. The beds were super compfy and the overall stay was great. The only reason I did not give five stars was because the burners on the over didn't work (we had caught lots of fish and hoped to fry them!) and we did laundry after fishing and had to take a huge load of linens out of the dryer to use it. Otherwise, it was wonderful!"

"Full of character...lots of interesting art. We had a nice room...good bathroom..only negative was the blind onto the street was insufficient to prevent people seeing in at night. We hung a blanket over it. "

"The house is spacious and well equipped for any type of stay, long or short. Everyone can have a comfy bedroom and the common areas are also comfortable and roomy. We loved the decor! The AC was nice and cool for after we spent the day walking around NOLA. My 10 year old decided to write in the guestbook on behalf of our family and told us it was his favorite vacation ever!’D "

"This was honestly the worst stay I’ve had. The entire place smelled like smoke, from the front desk all the way to the room, and the bed was in really poor condition. I’ll be honest, I didn’t realize my checkout time and that part was my mistake. But they packed up and removed all my belongings without informing me. When I came back, I explained it was unintentional, offered to pay, and asked if I could extend my stay. Instead, they kept my $60 deposit, asked for another deposit with higher rent, and even charged me just to get my own belongings back. I chose to leave. I had to book another hotel last minute, which cost more, but it was a relief to get out of there. What really upset me was that my MacBook charging brick and skincare items were missing. The new front desk staff member did try to help, but when I calmly brought it up, Ms. Brooke became defensive and said everything had been packed. I checked multiple times and only found the cords. I even opened my suitcase at the front desk to show I wasn’t making this up. I ended up taking a total loss of $128. This was a genuinely frustrating experience, and I wouldn’t stay here again."
