"Room is spacious and sparkling clean with nice view of the lake. It is an old building in traditional renovation. If you like the atmosphere of staying in an old English house you will definitely love it. We had a nice and quiet break from busy life there. Breakfast was nicely served. Close walking distance to hiking trail. It's a few minutes drive from town centre."
"Jason was so helpful at the front desk with restaurant and activity suggestions. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. We will definitely stay again!"

Lots of little coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Plenty of shops and nice market twice weekly. Jetty for ferry near town centre. Advisable to prebook if you want to eat somewhere in particular as there were queues at some restaurants at the weekend

I have been coming to Keswick for nearly 60 years. First as a camper/hiker, now as a hotel visitor. I feel really comfortable and relaxed in the place
"Fantastic hotel, lovely staff, delicious food and central location to all the hotspots with a bus stop across the road with a regular bus service to and from all the hotspots. Room for 1 was clean and beautifully decorated but very small which meant that on warm sunny nights the heat builds up making it uncomfortable to get ready and sleep in, easy fix, needs Air Con or a decent fan as the ones in the room were inadequate, however would this stop me returning, absolutely not as everything else in the Kings Head Inn was first class. Special shout to Sean/Shaun who gave me some lovely scenic places to walk."
"Traditional and slightly dated hotel. The accommodation was more than adequate and the food and service excellent. Its proximity to Keswick town centre is a bonus, especially as parking is free. After checkout we were told we could leave our car on the premises for the rest of the day if we so wished. "

"A lovely overnight stay at the Grange Country House. We received a lovely welcome from Michael, he was very informative and helped us to get settled in quickly. He gave us a tour and explanation of where everything was and about breakfast. The room was perfect, very clean and excellent condition. The breakfast was delicious the next morning and everyone that worked there was smiling and helpful. We will be staying again. "
"I love this place, staff are brilliant they are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble,I will certainly be visiting again.beautiful shower I didn't want to get out.perfect breakfast served with a smile.thank you for a very enjoyable stay.the lovely staff I can't praise enough 🤗👍"
"Lovely welcome at check in.
This is more of a guest house style than a modern ‘hotel’ and has decor/styling that reflects this, but all areas were very clean and tidy.
The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and had good storage and tea/coffee facilities.
Clean linen and nice towels. Lovely hot shower.
Super view from the window over a couple of streets and beyond to the hills/mountains.
All the staff we saw were friendly, attentive and hard working (but not rushing around and making things stressy).
Breakfast was very well cooked, tasty, fresh and good quality ingredients.
A few minutes walk to the centre of town and the park.
We would definitely book here again for a future visit to Keswick.
