Really nice building and wonderful views around the place. All the staffs are top notch! Also both of the restaurants served five stars foods. Had a really nice experience there with my wife. Hopefully we can bring our kids there one day.

We have visited here many times over the last four years and we have never been disappointed. Everything about this venue is superb, especially the wonderful staff who never fail to make us feel at home. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is so comfortable with lots of rooms to sit and relax. The log fires add to the comfort. Breakfast is so enjoyable with lots of choice. You can dine in the Bistro or the Restaurant and the food is all lovely. There is also a bar menu if you just want a snack.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic position on the lakeside. Attentive staff throughout especially in the restaurant where we had a memorable dinner overlooking the gardens down to lake Windermere. The room was spacious and nicely decorated with a quality en-suite. I would highly recommend this hotel you won’t be disappointed.

Storrs Hall is such a wonderful place to stay. Everything is just wonderful. The amazing caring Staff who can't do enough for you, the absolutely excellent food, the warm comfortable rooms with all their amenities, the views of the Lake, the surrounding walk. I could go on and on. It's expensive but so well worth the money.

Did not know that the hotel did not have a lift. Had heavy suitcase to negotiate to the top floor (room32) and as my recent back operation was still healing I requested a ground floor room. The staff fully understood and moved me to room7 on the first floor. The view from room 7 was disgusting as green slime covered the wall about 5 feet from the window. When this dries it will give off spores and thus prevented me from opening the window. The staff were great

5 Night break

We have stayed in this hotel before and were not disappointed with our stay. Unfortunately, no lift for me, but they gave us a room near the stairs which was lovely. Staff were very accommodating and the service from the bar staff (James) was far and beyond. Also, one waitress who went beyond for us was Jasmine, her attitude to the job was superb and her manner was great. She was very willing to talk and help whenever possible. Between the 2 of them they helped make our stay. One member of staff that we found quite gruff was the foreign short haired waitress in the dining room. She came across quite abrupt and was not very pleasant at times when asked questions. I got bad vibes from her. Other than the fact that it rained all week, it did not spoil our stay and we will be back.

Exceptional customer service. 5 stars all round.

We had an exceptional experience at Storrs Hall. The buildings and surrounding area were beautiful as was the room we were given. Set right on the lake it was such a great location. But the best part of the experience was the customer service. Every member of the team went out of their way to make us feel welcome and do everything they could to assist us. This was not your average hotel experience. Special thanks to Lucy who could not have done more for us and was amazing. Plus the breakfast was superb! Highly recommend this hotel in the Lakes.

Super stay

What a beautiful place Storrs Hall is. And not just because of the wonderful historic building set in an incredible location, the high standard of furnishings and cleanliness, but also because of the high quality of service and attentiveness that every member of staff provides. From the check in experience, the bar, the Bistro and breakfast, everyone couldn’t have been more polite or helpful. And speaking of food, wow! We ate in the bistro, and the food was stunning, and very reasonably priced (IMO). Breakfast the next morning was also such a high quality treat. I have nothing but positive things to say about our stay at the hotel.
