We did experience a few minor issues with the microwave and occasional WiFi interruptions, and AC would make it even more comfortable, but overall we had a great experience. "We had a wonderful time at the Big Island Retreat! It is for an adult who is seeking some chill time, tucked away in the trees, birds to watch, and feel the ocean breeze. Recommend for people who are okay without AC (went in March and wind was enough to keep us cool and sleep well), who are okay with quiet hours (I loved them because the sound does carry which makes ocean hearing good), and who want to spend most of their time outside or off exploring. This was perfect for our needs because we had plans to go and explore everyday and then come back just to sleep. We enjoyed not being on a big expensive resort and felt more naturally placed in the area. Our room had a bathroom, a sink, a mini fridge, a coffee pot, and dishes. There is a communal grill and larger fridge with a communal dining table. Washer and dryer available in the main public space. The public space has an open air roofed garden which is quite beautiful. We saw lots of birdies and geckos. "
