"This place was perfect! Mike was accommodating and welcoming and full of information about where to swim and eat which were our priorities! The outdoor showers might have been our favorite part. They were gorgeous! What a location! Would definitely go back and wished we’d spent more time there!"

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Kailua-Kona by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The young lady (I think Mary) at the front desk was very helpful during the day. The gentleman in the evening was also helpful. The staff was very pleasant and our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast was good but would have like some yogurt that was Greek and diabetic friendly. "
Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We moved here unexpectedly after our original hotel lost power, and it turned out to be a huge upgrade. The Courtyard was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located — right in the heart of Kailua-Kona. We could walk to everything: the beach, shops, restaurants, and attractions were all just steps away. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was relaxed but well-kept. Even with the last-minute booking, our stay felt seamless and stress-free. I’d choose this hotel again without hesitation."
