"Beautifully maintained property. Large rooms and perfectly prepared. Don't miss the hot tub. A nice soak out in nature with all the soothing sounds. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful! Going beyond the necessary. I stayed through a passing hurricane and they made certain i was well prepared for any potential problems and even prepared a meal in advance just in case, no charge. I highly recommend the lodge and thankfull to all the folks there!"

For those who want to see hilo night lava, they offer free tours also, but please remember to tip the staff. Normally tours like this cost $ 220 to 260 with tours companies in hilo"
