"Definitely stay here! The rooms are lovely as are the hosts. It's right on the water, a short walk or drive to the main shops & farmers market. Also a short drive to many lovely beaches. The breakfast was incredible - and they even accomodated gluten-free. Really great overall, great deal and we'll stay again if on Hilo!"

"Communication with the host was great. Very responsive. Location was great. Right near a beach with two others just down the road. One with some of the best snorkeling we have experienced in numerous trips to Hawaii (Richardson Ocean Park). Access to downtown and running trails was only about 10 minutes away."

"Nice sleeping to the sounds of nature. Very quiet area of Hilo We stayed in the Plumeria room which met our needs. Access to the beach is quick- if you plan to spend some time at Carlsmith Beach Park this is the perfect place to stay. Unfortunately we didn’t see any sea turtles because we were not around during the daytime. Would stay here again"
