"We stayed in the ohia room which had lovely high ceilings and a view of the gardens, also closest to the hot tub. The towel warmer was perfect for the damp climate. Staff was very friendly and having the restaurant onsite was a bonus. (We eat there even when we aren't staying there)"

"Only stayed one night as we stayed on Oahu for most of our trip, but flew to the Big Island to visit Volcanoes National Park and Mauna Kea. House is very close to park and was described to listing, have no complaints. "

"Very nice cabin for family. The treat basket was delicious with papaya, bananas, and danish. The 2 gallons of water were good for consumption. Catchment water was good for bathing and dish washing. Staff personnel are low stress with an easy process. We'll be back. "

"This was an amazing space to stay in for our visit to the big island! The home was immaculately clean, had everything we needed to be comfortable (including a washer & dryer), and afforded incredible views of the ocean (just steps away). The location is convenient for those based around Hilo and the neighbohood is quiet & walkable. We appreciated Liz's responsive communication prior to arriving and the ease checking in & out. "I enjoyed my stay here. The place is one of a kind and each room is unique. I was reluctant at first because of the shared bathroom, but I never had issues when I needed to use it. There is also an additional bathroom outside that I didn’t read about or see until my last night. The outdoor hot tub and shower were all placed uniquely in the back of the property amongst nature. The location is super remote and takes some patience trying to find, but you stay here for that reason — off the beaten path. The grounds indoors and out were well maintained. The artwork at the entrance and books inside are provocative and edgy which matches the vibe of the place. The kitchen, dining area, living room and patio were spacious enough for those who want to be alone. Locks are provided on every room door for security. There is a house cat that lurked around. Not a fan, an allergic, but that was minor compared to the beauty of the place. Complimentary snacks are provided in the room, however some water in the kitchen for guests would have been good. Highly recommend "
