We arrived at CityLife Auckland at approximately 2:00pm. They advised that our room wasn't quite ready, but they gave us 3 drink vouchers for the bar for the inconvenience. That was very kind of them and not expected. We were very happy with our room and the location of the hotel can't be beat. We took the Airport Bus from the airport and the drop off point is right out in front of the hotel, which was great. Then for our return to the airport via the Bus, we only had to cross the road. The reason for our stay was to attend a concert at Vector Arena, and we were able to walk to the Arena which was an added bonus. It was only an easy 15 minute walk. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again!
Large spacious hotel room with kitchenette and laundry facilities. Great views over Auckland and easy walk to the harbour and surrounds. The staff were very helpful and obliging. Some of the furniture needs updating but would happily stay again as everything else was so good.
From our arrival to departure the staff of this hotel met our every need. It is well located to major attractions, has lovely restaurants nearby and if you wish any information about the area the concierge is more than happy to assist you. As Canadians we felt so very welcome at the Crowne Plaza !
modern apartment very clean and tidy, modern appliances including full fridge, and washing machine, excellent kitchen fully equipped, easy walking about CBD, excellent view of skytower and harbour bridge (we were on the 25th floor), nice open plan kitchen, lounge area with separate bedroom. Couldn't fault it, only wished we could have stayed longer!, next time!!
We initially booked one night, but decided to stay another. Even their smallest room was pretty big. It's an old building with a lot of character. It's super central which is great and in the period we visited the rooms were at a very good rate. The staff was super friendly and helpful. This is a great hotel!
Hotel is right in the centre of Auckland with some really nice restaurants and bars close by. The staff were very friendly and and helpful and we got a free upgrade to a harbour view room.
The hotel is expensive but you get what you pay for and I'd definitely recommend paying the bit extra for a good view because it makes the room seem that much nicer.
