Bed and Breakfast in Auckland

"Great property but was a little out of the way overall excellent facilities parking was not available a car was parked in ours the entire week and very inconvenient while trying to load and unload luggage I had an interesting experience in my booking the advertising is not clear I was unaware of the shared kitchen/dinning arrangement however the personal upgraded my booking without discussion not that I am ungrateful I just was not aware of the changes. Thank you we totally enjoyed our stay👍"

"We booked through Hotels.com well in advance of our visit but on arrival Bryan was not expecting us. Fortunately there was a room available. A nice continental breakfast was left out for us which was cereal, croissant, apple puffs or toast. We had a decent sized room with bathroom and toilet down the corridor. This would have been shared but there were no other residents when we stayed. The bed was very comfortable. Bryan was v. helpful and provided a list of local restaurants and take always."

"Charming B&B! Area is lovely (although it was raining during our stay so we didn’t get as much of a chance to enjoy the location as we would have liked… but it IS breathtaking.) On the bay, lovely walk to town … couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful spot! "My wife and I spent two nights with Andy & Pip at the lodge at the start of our New Zealand vacation. They were great hosts, picked us up at the ferry dock, helped guide us with local transportation options (take advantage of the bus system to the local wineries) and Pip provided a wonderful breakfast that was a highlight of our visit. "While we didn’t require provisions for disabilities, they had an excellent set-up for those that do need such. Our host was very accommodating. "

Property owner was well prepared and friendly when we arrived, communication before arrival was excellent. The only (very very minor) request for improvement would be a light on the sign on the road, we returned at night and struggled to locate the entrance confidently in the dark.
