Mexico and Central America Golf Holidays

The property is not walkable friendly. Requesting a cart for pickup was stressful at times with dinner reservations. We ended spending more time at the pool closest to our villa to avoid having to request a cart for transportation back and forth to our room. The maid service for our room was not consistent. Room service for food was good and for the most part, timely. The restaurants at Sunset, Monte Christo and The Rose were amazing.

The property has a lot of activities for adults and kids. The kid pool is amazing, I will add adult chairs and lounges in the kids area because moms would love you have their kids runing while they rest. Property is super well staffed, the food is ok and the location is amazing.

This was our first time at this resort and overall it was great. We got upgraded to the nicer section of the resort and our room was nice and big. Staff was very friendly and hotel was clean and well maintained. The food was very expensive, it was nothing special. We would go out for dinner. Lots of walking distance restaurants & it was easy to get an Uber. My only complaint was that the building we were in was far from the main lobby. It seemed like a hike to go down to the lobby (there were two hills) and there was only one way to get our building. Being 6.5 months pregnant in the middle of summer it was not fun to have to do this whenever we left the hotel. Overall had a pleasant stay and would stay again. The kids pool was great.

Everything was great minus the check in staff. They start out when you upgrade to club by asking for even more money to upgrade even more and then try to get you to time share meetings. Secrets never use to be all about sales it was about the customer having a great experience. I will say the bar tending staff, house keeping and restaurant workers were amazing! Food was great. Room was great. Just disappointed in the pushy sales now ruins your welcoming.

Great little hotel. It was quiet, clean and well kept.
