Sales desks were set up right at each elevator access point to enter the lobby/food area. You were constantly pestered to "upgrade" your trip, do excursions, get massages, etc. Even after saying no and staying firm, they called your hotel room, left things under your door, and constantly asked when you got there and when you were leaving. Some sales pitch always happened. It was awful. The pool area isn't much and most of the entertainment was either water aerobics or karaoke. Food was mediocre. The app to reserve dinner never worked and the restaurants were closed almost everyday. I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

I've been at this resort a few years ago, under Wyndham; it was a better place. Many pics that are online are from that era, such as the lounge chairs in the pool water, the beach set up etc. Ever since we got to the resort, problems started, I could not get an additional room and had to go through some hurdles to get the room, so I just gave up. The staff would make promises and some suggestions but then the management would deny and just say sorry we can't do anything about it, e.g. approving coupons for some services and then at the check out they would not accept the coupons. The cleaning staff would leave a load of trash behind in the room, that was fully loaded in the trash bin; not providing the toiletries and we had to request separately. There were very few WAITERS in the resort, and whether you TIPPED or not, it would not make a difference. WiFi was horrible, every section of the hotel had different wifis and you had to get reconnected constantly. I don't mean, 3 or 4 different wifi sections but about a hundred and you would get disconnected and then miss some messages and email that would have otherwise been notified should the connection be there. Doesn't matter what your concern Is, the staff gave no care. The FOOD was mediocre. One of the episodes that I remember that we laughed at was when we ordered a dish that was supposed to be with a prosciutto, it literally came with an inch and half slice of prosciutto. I can go on and on ... Have a good vocation
