Mexico Honeymoon Holidays

I stayed at the El Beso and they really took care of us. We got a room upgrade, tshirts, and free champagne. They noticed my suitcase was broken and offered to give me a new one for free. I went very taken care of and able to relax. Property is huge and beautiful. There was a tram to take you around which was nice. Only thing is they have a few kinks to sort out. We waited over an hour and a half for the Mexican restaurant when we could see parties leaving and tables not being bussed and resat. Waited almost 2 hours to make an in person reservation at the hibachi restaurant. Only about 20 people were ahead of us in line so not sure why it took that long. Other than logistical stuff like that, this place was absolutely amazing, I would definitely return

The staff was outstanding—always attentive, friendly, and ready to take care of any request. The pool area was beautiful, and we especially loved the lazy river. Overall, it’s a very luxurious and relaxing place, and we would be more than happy to return again.

Resort was great. Some issues with paid transportation after a delayed flight

Overall, the stay was good. Unfortunately, our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, so we had to wait, which made it feel like we lost part of our day. The service was a bit hit or miss—while the servers and housekeeping staff were great, the front desk team during check-in and check-out wasn’t very welcoming. What stood out most, though, was being told that if we had booked directly through the hotel instead of Expedia, we might have been accommodated sooner, which didn’t sit well with me. Then they proceeded to tell us if we paid an additional $350/night they had a room ready for us right then and there.
