Mexico Honeymoon Holidays

So much pressure to join and be a “socio” but after you say no after about 30 times, the vibe COMPLETELY CHANGED! We were promised all these excursions and got only one, which we were grateful for. But they look almost 4 hrs of our time. Never again. The food was mid. Unfortunately we will never be coming back again due to at least 1 staff member being very rude to us almost everyday throughout our stay.

Our stay at GR Solaris Cancún was nice. We like that the resort was small and staff was super friendly. The only downfall was the cod and the fact that we couldn’t get reservations to the only 3 restaurants during our stay. The restaurants were closed some nights or they were hosting members only which was unfair.

I stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights with my partner and some friends. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We took advantage of both pools, the pool bar and the many bars throughout the location. We ate at Kao, Blue Agave, and Libra. Our favorite of the three was definitely Blue Agave. The service around the main pool was excellent and the entire staff were very attentive and quick with providing us with what we needed. The pool bar was also very attentive however only had one bartender so there was a slight wait, though not a problem. Our favorite bar was the swing bar behind the second pool as DINO was absolutely amazing! We definitely had the most fun with him. Alejandro was very quick and very kind while making our coffee drinks everyday. And Rodrigo made our first day very memorable as he was able to laugh and joke with us and make us feel very welcomed. A thank you to everyone that helped make our stay one for the books!
