The Inn was charming and well appointed. However, we had the feeling of "being on our own". There was no welcoming human contact whatsoever. We got our key from a "digital box" upon arrival and found our room, which was quite nice and well designed. The entire time we felt as if we were in an abandoned, albeit well appointed, house and on our own. The usual "morning coffee" in the kitchen was a complete disappointment. Again, no one there to provide the usual morning java and chatter, it was do-it-yourself coffee maker and a bowl of sugar packets. I searched the fridge and found a hodge-podge of half used salad dressing, etc., but no milk. Again, it looked as if they didn't care.
We don't know if this is a case of a freaked-out Covid/ lockdown owner/manager who is distancing themselves from the public for our "own good" or what, but it certainly left us feeling cold and unwelcome.
