Housekeeping in room 310 was excellent.
Found the table service at restaurant and bar next to none existence.
We are returning guests being the 6th time at The Edgewater, previously service had been amazing but unfortunately the serving staff showed very little enthusiasm, most of the time we had to go to bar to order drinks and food which was no biggy but staff were seen standing around talking to each other not the guests.
Barmen stepped up they were new to the resort but assisted were possible in taking the orders. The food and beverage manager helped out in service and general cleaning up but we are sure his skills would have been put to better use by getting his serving staff to do the job they are paid for.
Noticed by day 4 the pool had not been cleaned very well if at all. The water clarity had become cloudy. The distinctive smell of chlorine of a well cleaned pool was missing.
A distinctive smell of sewerage was noticeable on our day 5 and 6 of our stay, we were advised after asking service staff about this that the sewerage system was being worked on. No signage to advise guests of any issues.
