One of the most extensive cities in the world. An amazing mix of people: everyone is different! Waikiki is a lovely area but it's sad to see the level of homelessness around the island of Oahu. We saw no real evidence of homelessness in Waikiki.

Explore the island, lots of beautiful beaches and sites to see. Would definitely recommend Kualoa Ranch experiences especially the ATV tour. Try the food trucks the shrimp trucks are tasty and worth the price. Dole plantation is an informative tour.

The Waikiki area has changed so much in the last 50 years. Unfortunately, it's lost a lot of the Hawaiian charm that made it so special. It's become much more commercial. But, it's still a very fun, beautiful place to be, with a lot of things to do.

You need to make reservations online to get to many of the popular destinations like Diamond Head. Google maps is better at getting you where you want to go by bus that the City website. It's a big city with big city problems, in a lovely setting.

Honolulu is a big city filled with hotels, restaurants, and malls. It is surprisingly humid. Fun place to walk around and just browse. I mainly stayed around Waikiki beach but hope to explore more of Oahu next time. Diamondhead hike is worthwhile.

Waikiki is a bustling resort with plenty of activity, food, and the beach scene is hopping. The Bus will take you most places in town, though you might just rent a car to see the North Shore, Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, etc. But parking is pricey.

Waikiki is a touristy area with beautiful beaches, good restaurants & fair number of people. Parking is expensive but transportation is not difficult without a car. Pearl Harbor is worth a day. Head to North Shore or another island for more Hawaii

There is A LOT to do if you feel like exploring. Some people like to stay close to the beach and lounge, but if you like to be out and about, there are several different activities to check out. Do NOT miss the opportunity to visit Pearl Harbor!

Definitely try snorkeling with the fish/turtles out in Turtle Bay a MUST!!!! Do the sunset dinner on a boat, such breath taking views!!! Of course a nice Luau dinner is a must. Visit the outdoor mall for garlic butter shrimp @206 upstairs!!!!

We noticed that the city is working harder to keep the beach and streets cleaner. We also noticed and appreciated the public services such as the police presence. I felt safe and noticed that the beach fronts were clear of encampments
