"The Athena provided the exact experience we sought for a short stay in London. Our teenagers had never been to London, and we had an extended layover from another trip, so we booked close to Paddington Station to get to and from the airport quickly. The strip of beautiful old homes weaved together on a square made for a fantastic setting. It is located off of a main road with plenty of restaurants to choose from and easy access to public transport. The hotel staff were so pleasant and helpful, and the check in went smoothly and quickly. We loved the authenticity of the building with small, steep, creaky stairs; a quaint, surprisingly roomy room with a double; located on the third floor with a pleasant breeze coming through the windows and a tabletop fan to keep cool in the summer. The bathroom updates were nice and the hotel overall added to our inner London experience, with character and charm. The continental breakfast is a nice way to end the stay, along with the option to hold bags. We may have found the quarters tight if we intended to spend any time other than sleeping and freshening up, but we went to explore London, not stay in the room, and we sought and appreciated the character of the property. "

"The Tudor Court Hotel offers a charming and convenient stay for visitors to London, particularly those looking to explore the vibrant Paddington area and its excellent transport links. My recent stay provided a good balance of comfort, accessibility, and value Location (5/5): One of the hotel's strongest assets is its prime location. Situated just a stone's throw from Paddington Station, it's incredibly easy to reach from Heathrow Airport via the Heathrow Express, and provides direct access to several Underground lines (Bakerloo, Circle, District, Hammersmith & City). This makes exploring London's major attractions a breeze. Hyde Park is also within easy walking distance, offering a beautiful green escape from the city bustle. The surrounding area is lively, with numerous cafes, restaurants, and shops. Rooms (3.5/5): The rooms at Tudor Court are clean and well-maintained, reflecting a classic, albeit somewhat compact, London hotel style. While not overly spacious, they are functional and equipped with the essentials: a comfortable bed, a small desk, and a private bathroom. The decor leans towards traditional, and while some might find it a little dated, it contributes to the hotel's character. My room was quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep despite the central location. Service (4/5): The staff at the Tudor Court Hotel were consistently friendly, helpful, and efficient. Check-in was smooth, and they were always on hand to answer questions or provide directions."

"Crazy amazing property! Quiet quaint area just on the north edge of Hyde Park. The staff were incredible and the rooms were nice. If I were to give any downsides: the rooms were a bit small (but still very nice), and they put us on a smoking floor (I didn’t realize that’s a thing still). But, still, everything else outweighed it!"
