Excellent value for money and a very convenient location. That said, it’s not the quietest place. The doors inside transmit a lot of sound, so every time neighboring rooms opened their door, it sounded like it was my door . Having to keep the window open for airflow also meant hearing noise from people outside. A solid, budget-friendly option overall, just keep the noise level in mind when booking.

Excellent place, very friendly staff. Perfectly located near Lancaster Gate tube, dead easy to get about. Has all you need near by (pharmacy/general store etc). Room fine for what it is, only down side no air con during heatwave, but you get a fan in the room which was fine. We use hotels as a place to kip before our next daily adventure, perhaps if you're planning on sitting in your room all day it won't be for you. Our go to place when staying in London from now on.

Staff very helpful, breakfast good, room spotlessly clean, it’s situation is great as close to Paddington but not on a main road so quite quiet. Ideally situated to get around London on a quiet terrace. No air-con but there was a fan supplied. Will definitely stay again when next in London.

The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful when we arrived before our scheduled check-in time, exhausted after 20 hours of travel. Rooms are tiny and amenities are sparse (no shampoo/conditioner, for example), but this may be typical for the area. Location was very convenient and charming.

The staff were very friendly, and the location was excellent with easy access to many attractions. There were also plenty of restaurants nearby, which was very convenient. The breakfast was simple but good. Although there weren’t many options, everything I needed was available. The only issue was that I accidentally booked a room without air conditioning because I didn’t check the room details before making the reservation. During my stay, the weather was very hot, so it was quite difficult to sleep, especially at night. Opening the window helped because of the breeze, but it was also very noisy outside.

The hotel and room were clean and breakfast was fine. The only issues were the lack of storage for clothes, and with the bathroom. The shower was in the tub, and the tub was very slippery. The sink area could use an update as well.

Nothing so adequately describes "Complete Satisfaction" than ending a review with "definitely will return"! We did, and then returned nearly a year to that date! And the outstanding staff that greeted us at check-in recognized us ... "You look familiar. Were you with us last year?" We recalled them and their outstanding service but didn't expect them to recognize us. They welcomed us back "home" and made us feel like family. That said, Lancaster Hall is a charming hotel in a great location and comfortable neighborhood. It's a short walk (no more than 10 minutes with 2 large luggage) from Paddington train/tube station, most notably the Elizabeth line (to/from Heathrow Airport). It is a great starting point for visiting/exploring London. Hyde Park is a short walk away, as well as Kensington Gardens. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom updated. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, with a nice variety to choose from, to start out our day on the right foot. There also are plenty of dining options, cafes and shops nearby. And, yes, we definitely will return!
