"Old style boozer with rooms above in a bit of a ram-shackle state. Very basic and in a state of disrepair in parts. Bathroom door only on by one hinge, bathroom with bare plaster board and lots of tools and cleaners trolleys in the hallways and a strange diy metal fire escape. Was unable to re enter the hotel to get something we forgot when we left early one morning. Despite this it was a cheap and cheerful place to stay. "

"This hotel was clean, the breakfast was perfect. The service was great. Ample parking. My only negative feedback is it doesn't look anything like the pretty building shown in the photos."
"One of the best hotel stays in a long time. The staff was very accommodating, very clean rooms and lovely restaurant. We were getting back late night and called in a food order and they even helped us get food before we went to bed. Will stay here every time now."
"Hotel was easy to find and with plenty of parking. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to all requests. Room was lovely and spacious as too the bathroom. Aircon was a pkus with it being quite hot when visited in the summer. Lovely dining area with plenty of seating, we ate outside and food was delicious in the evening and at breakfast. I would order breakfast when booking as it is £15 and not £10 as advertised. Will stay again whrn in the area."
