Provencal house for rent in Gattières, on the heights of Nice, near the medieval villages of Saint-Paul de Vence and Saint Jeannet.
This large house of 200 square meters, on a large landscaped plot, faces south and offers a magnificent life on the sea and the Var plain. My house is surrounded by terraced gardens offering calm and serenity. The Baou is a nearby mountain where you can practice climbing and go on beautiful hikes.
My house has four large bedrooms, all air conditioned.
The living room is also air conditioned, there is also a fireplace and wood in the garden.

Villa avec une vue panoramique !
Très bonne demeure avec vue panoramique !
Tout est en ligne avec les détails et descriptif complet fourni sur le site, voire en mieux car les photos ne font pas justice à la très grande qualité, la taille ou l’emplacement de la villa.
Nous étions 4 adultes ensemble avec 4 petits enfants.
La maison est spacieuse, très confortable et est très bien équipée. Par exemple, la cuisine était équipée de très nombreux appareils électroménagers haut-de-gamme, récents, en excellent état et de très bonne qualité pour le bonheur de tous.
La terrasse et son coin de repos sont très agréables, et se prêtent parfaitement à des diners préparés à la plancha ou sur un barbecue que nous avons trouvé flambant neuf.
La terrasse surplombe la piscine ce qui est parfait pour garder un œil sur les enfants tout en restant à l’écart pour un peu de tranquillité.
La piscine est grande, plus que cela ne pourrait paraitre sur les photos. On trouve de nombreux transats là-aussi très confortables, avec la possibilité d’en placer plusieurs sous l’ombre d’un grand chêne au bord de la piscine.
Nous avons particulièrement appréciés les petites touches de décoration de la maison, des objets du monde ou simplement des plantes qui décorent très bien le jardin et font preuve du goût des propriétaires. La vue de la chambre à l’étage est époustouflante et donne sur les hauteurs de Nice et le Var.
Enfin, la maison est situé entre 5 à 20 minutes de plusieurs villages perchés et moins fréquentés par les touristes comme Saint-Jeannet avec son Beaou, ou Gourdon, ou Tourrettes sur Loup ou encore Carros et bien sur l’incontournable Saint-Paul-de-Vence avec sa fameuse fondation.
Au final, nous avons passé des vacances inoubliables! Merci

Wunderschönes Haus in ruhiger Lage
Das Haus von Jean-Christoph liegt wunderschön an einem Hang. Es ist bestens ausgerüstet, wir haben oft gekocht und alles ist vorhanden, was man benötigt. Die Zimmer sind schön und modern. Die Kommunikation mit Jean-Christoph verlief ausgezeichnet. Wir kommen wieder ;-)

Un super séjour en famille dans une belle maison au calme
Jean-Christophe, le propriétaire met littéralement SA maison à disposition, c'est une grande marque de confiance, et on se sent immédiatement comme chez soi. Il est très arrangeant et très disponible pour répondre à la moindre question. La maison est très bien équipée, chaque pièce individuellement climatisée, la literie est de qualité (un plus pour la couette en plumes d'oie !), la piscine est très bien entretenue, et les nombreuses chaises longues garantissent de merveilleuses siestes à l'ombre du chêne. L'environnement direct de la maison est très calme. Il faut juste être conscients que Gattières n'est pas Nice d'un point de vue animation et que la voiture est nécessaire pour visiter les environs et même descendre au village (ça ne paraît pas loin, mais il faut être entraînés pour surmonter la remontée jusqu'à la maison chargés de courses !)

Merveilleux séjour
Très belle et grande maison idéalement située, avec de nombreuses vues. Nouvelle cuisine super équipée, chambres très agréables et climatisées. Plusieurs très belles terrasses extérieures (abritées du soleil). Cerise sur le gâteau : la piscine pour se détendre après les visites dans la région. Propriétaire très accueillant et très sympathique. Bref, nous avons été totalement conquis et recommandons vivement cette location !!!

Didn’t want to go home
There is nothing bad to say about this property. The house has all you need and there is air conditioning in every room. The beds are great and you sleep like a baby.
The pool is bigger then the pictures and we could easily fit 8 people in there.
The view and quietness is remarkable and the small town of Gattières is very “French” and charming. There is a restaurant called Mount Cala (or something like that) worth trying.
The host JCL is very helpful and friendly. Great communication in spite of that I don’t speak French and he doesn’t speak English.
We will surely be back.

Gattières zum 2. Mal
Wieder eine super Woche in diesem tollen Haus verbracht. Einige Zimmer und die Küche sind frisch renoviert, viel Platz und alles da, was man zu einem Urlaub mit Freunden braucht. Endlos Ausflugsziele, es wird einem nicht langweilig und die Teenager waren auch happy!

Perfekte Woche in Gattières
Man kann unseren Aufenthalt in der Villa nur als perfekt bezeichnen. Die ruhige Lage der Villa, die wohnlich eingerichteten Zimmer, der saubere Pool und die großen Terrassen mit Grill sowie die fröhliche Atmosphäre haben uns eine perfekte Woche erleben lassen. Kann man nur empfehlen!
