"The hotel was nice a bit basic but clean and friendly staff. The continental breakfast was ok but for $20 you get what you paid for. There is an option for a cooked breakfast, which was made to order. Unfortunately the security lock didn't work on the door but had no real concerns, i never felt unsafe. The beds were comfortable so that's always a bonus. I think one of the biggest attributes to the hotel was the staff, in-particular the two ladies who helped & talked me through my options for things to do, sadly I can't remember their names. But they were both really helpful. Overall it was a nice hotel & a good location"

"My room was on ground level and accessed from outside the building. It felt very safe. The room was beautiful and bed very comfortable. There was a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was modern and spotless. Great location as you can walk everywhere. I went to Fat Cat café for breakfast which is a great spot."

"Great place to stay. Comfortable beds and living area. Two bedrooms worked well for 4 of us. Great having 2 toilets (one in the bathroom) and one on it's own. Enjoyed the spa pool each evening. Shower nozzle wouldn't stay up but we managed a work around. Staff advised they would get this fixed. Would be helpful to have a few more utensils as very minimal if you wanted to try and make a meal e.g. serving bowls, extra sharp knife."

Alpin Motel & Conference Centre

Alpin Motel & Conference Centre

10/10 Excellent
"Perfect for families! We are super impressed staying at this little apartment. It was perfect for our families needs, very clean and tidy, the host was lovely and welcoming. It was spacious and had a great layout and it was so warm when we checked in, with extra heaters/cooling fans. The main living had a king single and a double pull out sofa bed. It has a well equipped kitchen. Then off the kitchen through the door is a mini hallway with closet space, iron and hair dryer + the bathroom. The bathroom had a heated toilet seat, shower with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, very hot water and great water pressure. Back into the closet area through another door is a queen bedroom and the spa area. I love that you have two doors to close off from the kitchen living area for those watching TV. It also has a communal laundry area on site. The spa was great way to rest after walking and taking in the sites. We normally stay at the Pullman or Millennium, but needed a different amenities and the apartment was more suitable with the kids to come and go. It was also very quiet considering it was fully occupied, we didn’t hear any of the guests."

"The room was very conveniently laid out, bright and had all the amenities of an apartment. Missing was a cooking range but that is not a deal breaker. The freezer section was very small so we had to shop for food daily but it wasn't much of a bother either. Security is excellent. WiFi strength was very good. Housekeeping was daily and was definitely a pleasant experience but honestly can be reduced to one every two days. Although old, the dishwasher worked well and so did the washer dryer in the room. Location is super convenient with everything within a short walking distance. Hotel property extremely clean and looked after. Staff very helpful and quick to respond to requests."

"The rooms were very basic, for the price you can’t complain, A coat hanger would be good just too hang your coats up etc. The room coffee and tea making gear but no milk or fridge so black it is… The staff/reception lady was very helpful. We mixed up our arrival day and she managed to book us into another room for the night with no extra charge.. we booked through Expedia.. Would I stay again….. probably. The place was very close to the redwoods treetop walk which was handy and also close to some restaurants etc."
