and jetty, this was an exceptional, though short, stay. Our host was charming. Fantastic breakfast and a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. In places, the property looked a little tired but overall, a real treat."

"The property feels like a private home when you’re in the garden. We watched the sunset and played around in the garden and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It has a guest lounge with games and it feels like you could just hang out there for a week and enjoy yourself. We only had 2 nights but made ourselves right at home thanks to the hospitality of Rowena and her associate. Definitely stay at Black Swan!"

"Everyone at this hotel was very accommodating. Beautiful rooms with great views. Breakfast was great each morning, and Nicky was a fantastic server going above and beyond. Dinner was also very good. It is outside the central rotoura area and as such most tours won’t pick you up there, but it is a 10 min drive into town and we found it very easy to get an uber quickly, so no issues getting around. "

"We enjoyed our stay at aww sheep. The back deck with a view over Rotorua was stunning and we really enjoyed having meals out there. The hot tub was a real treat. The house itself could use some updating, but was clean and was stocked with everything we needed. The downstairs bathroom/laundry was lacking a counter top to get ready for the day, so we were all having to use one bathroom sink for the most part, but just a minor inconvenience. Overall, I would recommend staying here for the view...

"Beautifully decorated and so clean. So many amentities; pool, hot tub, exercise equipment, fire pit, stunning view of lake all in a great neighborhood really close to everything we wanted to see and do in Rotorua. The bed was so comfortable too. It was just the two of us, but would be a great place for a family or multiple couples. Deb and Bob Marblehead, Ohio USA"
