"Beautiful property surrounded by trails to hike in the forest. Really unique lodge we were very glad we stayed. Plus was the spa and lovely outdoor hot tubs. While the meals were okay but not great, we enjoyed the social hour and meeting the other guests. Lodge rooms were smaller than expected. Beware that it is a long windy drive in and out of the hotel. "

"everything is perfect except for the latest check out time is 10am. 3pm-10am is not enough for enjoy the stay. Another issue is there is no walk-in bathroom in the room. Always enter to the wrong room in the evening."

"The property was conveniently located for all of our plans in and around Rotorua. Unfortunately, the AC broke right before our stay, which was not communicated to us. We had to contact the owner because we were unable to turn the AC on, which was when we found out it was broken. In addition, the parking situation was tricky - either a VERY tight driveway, or a big dropoff to a gravel spot. Not great when driving a rental car!"
