  • This show was awesome! After the initiation you are welcomed into the village and go threw different stations learning about the culture and then you get a performance show and dinner. Definitely recommend and reservations book way out, so book early! And tip: ask for Mark to be your driver... Seriously I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard

The Ibis hotel was clean and clearly one of the more popular hotel destination's in the small city of Rotorua. Despite some check in concerns, in regard to my foreign credit card, it was a fine hotel to stay in, it borders the geothermal park on the edge of the city. The amenities on site were plentiful. I would stay here again.

Its a nice little compact hotel with compact rooms. Ideal for staying if you are away from room most of the day and just coming back to sleep. Very small shower cubicle. Good amenities for a small room. Carpets definitely needs a good refurb. The 2 times I tried calling guest service/reception no answer. Tried to get help to dispose off some rubbish from the room so I have more space of the small desk, I was told no staff was available to help. But I enjoyed the breakfast, the location (close to CBD, most sightseeing places, restaurants and you can walk to waterfront) Reception staff was friendly at check in.

There was an issue with a water leak in my original room the staff were amazing and so helpful. They moved me to a different room and sorted things quickly at an extremely busy time. Comfortable bed, clean and tidy.

The staff were friendly. Our room was fine but our friends had a room where the air conditioning wasn't working. The staff told them to do a reset but it still didn't work so the room with the sun shining in was like an oven. They contacted the front desk again and were told maintenance had been advised but nothing got done to fix the problem

Our first time stay in ibis, Check in not convenient and long wait for check in, even we already done online check in and select the time frame for our arrival(12-3pm). Rooms are not ready when we arrived at 3pm. One of our two room are quite small, breakfast are not worth it. Location and parking are very good.
