"Extremely comfortable beds. Excellent view. But the property is a bit tired and needs a little TLC. Was a bit odd that the ensuite didn’t have a toilet in it, and you had to go out in the hallway to a shared one. And in the downstairs, the toilet was separate to the bathroom, which only had a basin to wash your hands, so, they should have been in the same room, not 2 separate rooms? But, in saying that. We did like our stay, the staff were lovely. Ok distance from town. Walking down didn’t take too long, but back up the hill was a little struggle for the unfit. But, about a $10 uber fare, so that was great!"

"We really loved staying at this hotel and will definitely stay here again! The entire staff was very nice and helpful with questions or guidance for bus routes, taxi or other area activities/amenities. The location is fantastic! Quiet, clean and easy access to routes for activities that we were using and not a lot on traffic congestion. The front desk and housekeeping staff were amazing! They looked to make our stay comfortable and all was clean. They cared about their work and guests. This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. It was a lovely experience! "

"We had a number of issues with our stay: The toilet was like a waterfall. Non stop leaking, which was very noisy and impacted our sleep. We informed reception on the night of check in and they didn’t do anything about it during our two night stay (they literally left us on read…). We had booked the hotel because it said it had a washed/dryer. The dryer in our room didn’t work (combined washed/dryer and the heating element of dryer didn’t work) We only became aware on our second night when reception had left and had so much wet laundry… The room has a kitchenette - which is accurate. However, it didn’t have any dishwashing liquid, a sponge or even a tea towel. "

"Cozy room, lovely view of the lake.Very comfortable bed. Wonderful restaurant for dinner & breakfast with a great wine selection, service was attentive & personal. A relaxed, cozy atmosphere around the complex, loved the outdoor fires. Easy parking, good location for activities, on bus routes."

"Great property, lots of thoughtful additions to make it an easy and homely stay. The host issued so much helpful information in a handy format for the visit. The location views are stunning. Unfortunately had to drop a star as the re was no way to contact the host prior to 3 days before the stay. They are looking into why they didn’t receive any of my information requests."
