Nestled in the heart of downtown Fort Payne, The Cottage is a charming boutique hotel that boasts 4 hotel-style suites and traces its roots back to 1936. Renovated with meticulous care, this historical bungalow offers a unique blend of vintage allure and contemporary comfort.

Upon entering, guests are welcomed into the cottage lobby where the owner's son has a snack bar. Grab a snack and leave a donation to encourage his entrepreneurial spirit and support his endeavors!

The boutique hotel boasts four thoughtfully designed suites, each exuding its own personality and charm. While the decor pays homage to the historical context, it deviates from the time period, offering a refreshing and eclectic twist. Suite #3 (sleeps 3 total) has a queen bed, futon-style couch that folds into a twin sleeper bed to accommodate a 3rd person, a bar with stools, & a single shower. It is ideal for a small family or a few adults desiring to be within walking distance of downtown.

We have PLENTY of parking. There is parking in the front, on the side, & in the back of the property. Cottage Suite 3 is entered through our lobby where the owner's son has a snack bar.
