The home offers Three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and a countertop with two bar stools for additional seating. Enjoy relaxing in the open living room area surrounded by numerous windows and doors which lead out to a large wrap around deck to enjoy your morning coffee. Relax and soak up the sun or swim in the expansive pool. This is an amazing home for families and a great place to stay and enjoy the natural surroundings of Sanibel. Pet friendly (with approval and additional, non-refundable fee) and plenty of room for up to 8 guests.

We have enjoyed many rentals in SW FL, but this was our first disappointment. While the home is spacious and in a lovely neighborhood, it’s the worst house there. It shows real neglect. We had a myriad of issues to deal with: cleanliness, pests ( cockroaches, 3 scorpions - in pool area, outside, and in 2nd floor bedroom, and the perimeter of the property has 8-10 black plastic boxes that turned out to be (full) rat traps .

December Stay at Gumbo Limbo
We spent a month in the rental house at Gumbo Limbo. We have rented other homes on Sanibel over the years and this house was probably in the worst shape. The house is in a great location, has a great view of the lake, and has plenty of space but it's not well maintained. We spent a lot of time when we arrived cleaning up. The pool was dirty, TV's didn't work, and the sofa's were awful. Hopefully the homeowner gets some of these issues get resolved because it has the potential to be a great rental house. But I can not say enough good things about Ryan and his team at Dream Vacations. They were very responsive to our requests and tried to solve things as quickly as possible. For example, we realized the grill didn't work and Ryan had someone bring us a new one within a couple of hours. The vaccum cleaner didn't work and Ryan showed up within minutes with a brand new one. We would definitely work with this company again.
