Fantastic Guest House
This was a brilliant place for an overnight stay. Edna was the perfect host, with a welcoming tray of tea and muffins. The room was excellent. They have thought of everything. The breakfast was excellent. Can definetly recommend. So handy for the A10 orrailway station.

We were very impressed with The Gate House. Our room with an en suite was very clean and stylishly decorated, larger than a standard room with a nice view of the canal and the king size bed was very comfortable. The owner Edna had thought of everything to make our stay pleasant. We also had a silent fridge in our room which contained fresh milk if we wanted to make a hot drink in addition to bottled water. We were only there one night so did not have much time to explore the area but found our stay very relaxing in a nice environment. We also had a very nice breakfast before we left

Nice Tea Tray when I arrived, Thank you.
Could not have been any better. Absolutely lovely spacious room, tea tray made when I arrived. Host could not have been any nicer. Highly recommend.

Why pay hotel prices when a B&B is this good?
Excellent guest house - immaculately clean, comfortable and well equipped room. Lovely bathroom with a first class shower over the bath. Made me a pot of tea on arrival. Free fast WiFi which puts many fancy hotels to shame. Excellent service. Next time i’m Working in the area I won’t even bother looking at the hotels!

A gem of a find for an overnight business trip!
This little B&B was perfect for an overnight stay. It had everything you would require including nice touches like still and sparkling water in the room, a small fridge. The owner was very helpful and come in extra early to arrange a superb breakfast. Overall 5 stars from me!
