Everything you need
I stayed with my mother atthe end of a 2 week holiday, or a last few days together. The entire process from booking, to checking in, paying and leaving was simple. Everything we needed was there, it was warm and comfortable and also close to shops and the walking distance to the CBD. One thing to remember - Cars parked on the street can be a bit tricky to navigate dependant on the size of your car when reversing out of the driveway. Definitely on my list for our next holiday.

Loved the topiary rabbits and ducks. Loved the design of the house. Loved the location. Beautiful kind sized bed in the master bedroom. Excellent accommodation.

Beautifully clean home in a great location
After a very stressful trip to Christchurch with our two little ones and arriving 7 hours later than planned, turning up to this beautiful house late at night made the whole trip worth the stress. I am someone who ends up leaving the accomodation cleaner than what it was to begin with, so i was honestly delighted to see this lovely Richmond home was clean from top to bottom. My baby was crawling at that stage, so it was a relief to know it wasn’t just lightly cleaned ending in him crawling in everyone else’s filth prior to us. Danielle was so awesome to deal with too and she had turned the lights and heat pump on prior to us arriving so it was nice and warm and welcoming for us, along with some yummy chocolates too. Thank you for honestly being one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at. Everything was a 10/10

Magnificent in every way
Immaculate property. Had everything anyone would need. Extra touches like Easter eggs and Easter tea towel made it special. Lock up garage. Owner was a great communicator. Beds very comfortable. Home beautifully decorated. Felt very homely. Warm and friendly environment. Best place we have stayed in both here and overseas. Couldn’t recommend a stay here highly enough. Would definitely like to stay here again one day. Thanks so much!

Great little French Folly in quiet location not far from all ChCh has to offer
Love the French theme of this cottage and garden. The bed is sublimely comfortable. Around the corner from the supermarket and cafe and a short drive to central Christchurch makes it very convenient. We always stay at Danielle’s on our annual trips to visit family in Christchurch. Danielle replies to communication vey promptly and is very helpful. The cottage is always spotless.

Perfect place to stay
We loved the house, clean, bright close to city centre and quiet, just what you need after all day, relax 😊. Perfect for our family of 4. We had everything we needed, kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, you feel like at home. The house decor was nice and different touch too. We will definitely come back. We had fantastic communication with the owner, so so helpful and kind. Definitely recommend!!

Highly recommended
A very comfortable spacious place that had everything we needed. It was close to downtown but peaceful and quiet. We could go for a walk along the Avon River and it was a 5 minute walk to the supermarket. We were very pleased with the property.

We were extremely happy with our stay and the christmas tree and decorations that greeted us made our Christmas even more special. It was a lovely touch and gave a lot of joy. The perfect stay
Maison du Soliel delivered once again for our stay in Christchurch. The house is beautiful, comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. Much more like a home than a holiday let. Beautiful fenced grounds and a garage which is a bonus. Danielle is a wonderful hostess, so obliging and a great communicator. We look forward to our next visit.

The property is quite unique. It is fully kitted out with all appliances, cockery, utensils etc. expected in a home. Plenty of space and inside and nice outdoor settings. Danielle was easy to deal with and very prompt. We would happily stay again.

The property was tidy, nicely decorated, and had everything a family needs for a weekend or longer stay. The beds were super comfortable, and the check in was really easy. Getting to the property was easy, and having the garage to park the car was a really nice perk.

This is a fantastic property. It's spacious, beautifully presented, has everything you need and has really comfortable beds! Less than 10 minutes drive to the central city and a really quiet neighbourhood. It's very close to walking tracks by the Avon River. We've booked many holiday houses in New Zealand and overseas and this is one of the best by far. We'd definitely stay again.

Lovely spacious and clean townhouse, in a quiet area but still super close to the city centre and all the shopping. We came for a weekend of shopping and it was perfect. Great for the family, with everything you need Incl. Cooking equipment, washer and dryer. Easy communication with the host and easy check in / check out procedure. Highly recommend 👌
